Whole Foods, Hole (in the) Wallet

Twas a doomed day

When I first laid eyes on you.

Massive capital loss was to follow

And I am but left to stew.

A fallen growth stock,

The hot money was escaping.

We patient entered the fray

To find our later loss to be gaping.

Organica, smorganica,

Good for the environment does not help.

“We want our capital back!”

We shout with a pleading yelp.

Alas, that’s not how it works,

It is sad to say.

Loss is the rightful consequence

For those who overpay!

Growth is the game for tricksters,

Fundamentals are not their concern.

It is about foolish excitement.

Play there and expect to be burned.
